Octopus -

carved from laminated grand fir boards, which have been painted with acrylics.  Mounted on cedar board stained light green and a frame made of Douglas fir. Size is approximately 30" x 25"

Angel Wings

These were carved from scrap wood and painted by the person who purchased them, about 2 ft tall.

Red Irish Lord

Tidepool Sculpin - Oligocottus maculosis

carved from Red cedar, mounted on a strip of maple,

This sculpture was in the Sidney Fine Arts Show.

 Pink Rockfish

The fish are red cedar mounted on a piece of spalted maple.  The fish are painted with acrylics and finished with varnish.

   
 
   
   
   
Rockfish - carved from red cedar heartwood with beautiful grain.  It has gone to a good home.
   






   
Carved from red cedar, this fish is about 8" tall and is meant to hang on a wall.  The idea came from a carving I saw in Hawaii.
   
This fish is carved from sequoia and is attached to a base of spalted maple.  The sculpture is about 26" (65 cm) tall and is finished with Danish oil.
   
Maple Sculpture - two pieces of spalted maple have been shaped and mounted on a piece of maple. 

The sculpture is 62 x 20 x 50 cm tall, and is finished with Danish oil.
